ARREST & REMAND OF MR ALEX EKWUAGANA : A REPORTED CASE OF MURDER SAYS CP ECHENG

The Anamabra State Command wishes today 4/2/2022 to inform the general public especially Ndi Anamabra that the arrest and remand of Mr Alex Ekwuagana President General of Abba Community in the Correctional Service Center is a case already in court bordering on Conspiracy Murder and Kidnapping reported on 11th of November 2021, to Anamabra State Police Command. Among the seven victims kidnapped is one late Mr Amaechi Okafor and a staff of Nnamdi Azikwe University, UNZIK, Awka.

To set the records straight, before his arrest, Mr Alex evaded police arrest and was in an attempt to elope after serials of Police Invitation especially through the stakeholders and members of Abba community prove abortive. The Command also arrested some suspects in connection to the act. During interrogation they voluntarily confessed and mention some persons of which Mr Alex Ekwuagana was positively identified as one of the chief actor and others still at large.

The Commissioner of Police CP Echeng Echeng not wanting to react to a matter already in court, urge members of the public to disregard the assertion that he was abducted. He describe the mendacious publication as handiwork of mischief makers to wipe up sentiment and join issues on already case in court. He also assures the Command will not be distracted in the course to discharge its primary duty.
