Anambra Poll: Ogbaru Main Market celebrate Soludo’s victory, lauds Buhari’s congratulatory Message

Traders in Ogbaru Main Market near Onitsha metropolis, Anambra State were thrown into Jubilation when the news of Professor Charles Soludo’s victory in the just concluded gubernatorial election in Anambra State was broken.
It would be recalled that Mr. Ndubuisi Ochiogu, the Caretaker Chairman of the Market was the only Market Chairman who mounted APGA party bill board in his Market in support of the party flag bearer, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo during the election.
As if the bill board was not enough, he mobilized traders who campaigned for APGA party and worked assiduously to ensure that everybody voted for Soludo.
Fielding questions from newsmen on the APGA candidate’s victory, Mr Ochiogu disclosed that Soludo deserved the victory, describing his election as free, fare and transparent.
He specifically extended his appreciation to President Mohammadu Buhari who he said congratulated the new Anambra governor for his victory, pointing out that Buhari’s none partisan in the Anambra election was a mark of democracy in action.
He also commended the security agencies for their high level of professionalism during the election, revealing that nobody was molested as wildly feared by the people.
Mr. Ochiogu however attributed the victory of Prof. Soludo to the prayers of Ndi Anambra and Ndigbo in general, adding that God did not allow the wrong person to win the election.
” God answered our prayers and gave Soludo to Anambra State. Soludo would give Anambra State what they want and deliver Ndigbo. He had delivered other rest of the world, he would as well deliver his own people” Mr. Ochiogu posited.
Similarly, the secretary general of the Market, Mr. Bucknor Agu noted that the election in Anambra State was the most free, fair and credible ever conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Nigeria, disclosing that even the International Community has commended the credibility of the election.
He extolled President Mohammadu Buhari for his instant congratulatory Message to Professor Soludo, stating that Buhari’s nonpartisan act in the Anambra election was a clear indication that he is purely working for the common good of Nigerians.
Mr. Agu praised other party candidates who congratulated the APGA candidates on his victory and called on all the Anambra stakeholders especially those who lost the election to extend hand of congratulation to Soludo in order to move the state forward.
Speaking further, he reminded the incoming governor to fulfill his election promise he made to people of Okpoko Community where he vowed to commence his first projects in the area if elected as the Governor of Anambra State.
