Anambra NUJ congratulates new CMD of COOUTH
The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Anambra State Council has congratulated Dr Josephat Akabuike as the new Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, COOUTH, Amaku, Awka, Anambra State.
THE PARADISE gathered that Dr Akabuike was appointed following the demise of the Chief Medical Director, Late Dr Basil Nwankwo, three months ago after a brief illness.Speaking during a courtesy visit to the CMD in his office in Awka recently, the State Chairman of NUJ, Comrade Emmanuel Ifesinachi on behalf of the executives described the appointment as well deserved.Akabuike was until his new appointment, former state Commissioner for Health and Chairman of Governing Council, Anambra State College of Health Technology, Obosi, Anambra State.
The NUJ boss described the CMD as a thoroughbred professional and a leader who distinguished himself throughout his reign then as a Health Commissioner.“Everything you have done and accomplished has led to this point and you truly deserve it. You’ve always worn diligence, dedication and professionalism.
