Anambra Guber: Women Arise For Change Initiative extols Anambra Political Gladiators For Their Patriotism
One of the household observers in the Just decided Anambra governorship election Women Arise For Change Initiative has applauded Anambra political gladiators and candidates in the election for their remarkable show of patriotism, selflessness, maturity, love and peace of the state for not only accepting the outcome of the election but also most importantly, congratulating the winner and promised to work towards unity, peace, progress and prosperity of the state.
In a press release tagged ‘Anambra State Truly The Light of The Nation’ issued to newsmen endorsed by Comrade Vincent Ezekwueme, the State Coordinator and Chairman of the observation team. They commended the political intelligence and maturity displayed by Peter Obi, Val Ozigbo, Ben Etiaba, Senators Chris Ngige, Ifeanyi Uba, George Muoghalu and others as an indication that the state will continue to show the light and the way for others to emulate and follow.
They have demonstrated that the future is bright and It will certainly enhance our democracy and democratic governance.
It is incumbent upon the Governor-Elect to reciprocate their good gesture by according them the respect and honour they deserved and constitute an inclusive government.
We think that political class and citizens in the state should consolidate on the Anambra election by working assiduously in direction of elimination of unprecedented voters apathy, vote-buying, denominational politics, monetization of electoral processes, intimidation and inducement to actualise democracy of our dreams, hopes and aspirations.
Worthy of note is that we thanks tremendously those who made immense contributions towards peaceful conduct of the election especially President Buhari, who ensured that Anambra voters votes counts, INEC, Security Personnel, Civil Society Organisations and citizens.
It is of prime importance for the political class and citizens to accord the Governor-Elect Professor Charles Soludo all the necessary support and solidarity in other to move our state to enviable heights and make our good better and our better best Ezekwueme posited.
