ANAMBRA GUBER: APGA CHIEFTAIN, REDEEMS PLEDGE TO HIS TOWN

For the people of Okpo village  Ekwulobia in Aguata local government area of Anambra state, the 19th day of November will always be a day to remember as a day of joy, celebration and happiness as their son, Barr. Chuks Ezewuzie fulfilled his campaign promises to his people. 

Ezewuzie, who gave his people two cows and a monetary gift in fulfilment of his promise during Gov. Willie  2nd tenure campaign.

Barr. Chuks  Ezewuzie emphasized that the cow and cash gifts were in fulfilment of the promise he made to the people of the area before the election.

“The entire village of Okpo constitute a special group within our ward. I promised that if the ward deliver APGA, would receive a cow and an envelop and today we are fulfilling this promise.

“We are here to say thank you. We thank you because you stood by us in our famous 21/21 victory in 2017 and this period you  stood by us again.”

Ezewuzie, a Special Adviser to the Governor on Disability Matters commended the grand slam victory of Soludo and urged him to continue to toe the path of development that the outgoing governor had entrenched in the state.

His kingdom ( Umunna )Umuezenwa kindred and Okpo village, got one cow and cash of fifty thousand naira (#50.000) respectively.

In their reaction, Chairman of Umuezenwa kindred in Okpo Village, Michael Ezeagu said “that the support for APGA went beyond the Okpo village of Ekwulobia and stressed that the party was able to garner maximum votes and support due to the belief they had in the candidacy of the APGA flag bearer.

Mr. Ezeagu thanked Barr. Ezewuzie for a promise made and fulfilled and prayed for God’s blessings upon him, his household and the entire APGA family in general. 

Also speaking, APGA ward 1 Chairman in Okpo village, Ekwulobia, Christopher Ezeigwe said “I’m happy because Ezewuzie fulfilled the promise he made to the people. I thank God for keeping him alive to fulfil the promise he made to APGA faithful and the Okpo People’s Assembly.”

He expressed joy that the government under Governor  Willie Obiano administration had turned around persons with disabilities from being viewed as beggars to decisive members of the society and urged the incoming governor to uphold the legacies of the Willie Obiano government on the disability group and ensure that the foundations laid by the outgoing governor are solidified.

Following the gifts, Barr. Ezekwuonna Anthony who is a Special Adviser to the Governor on Community Liaison said people of the area has entered into a covenant with APGA for future elections and stated that Soludo’s election would help to expand the development of the state

Additionally, he pointed out that the election had solidified APGA as the true picture of the Igbo race, noting that the APGA government would do well if they are supported in piloting the affairs of the state.

He lauded Governor Willie Obiano for providing a solid road network in the area which according to him was a nightmare to the people of the area before its construction.
