Anambra: FRSC Sector Commander pays courtesy visit to Igwe Okofia Vi

Courtesy Visit By The Sector Commander Frsc Anambra To The Igwe Ukpo, His Royal Majesty, Igwe Dr. Robert C. Eze, Okofia Vi.

The Sector Commander FRSC Anambra state Corps Commander Adeoye Irelewuyi paid a Courtesy Visit to Igwe Ukpo; His Royal Majesty, Igwe Dr. Robert C. Eze Okofia VI; Eze Ukpo Dunukofia today 15th September, 2021 at 1100hours.

The Sector Commander was warmly welcomed by the Igwe in coompany of his Cabinet members at the Royal Palace of Dunukofia.

His Royal Majesty in his address welcomed the Sector Commander on behalf of Ukpo Community to Anambra State as the 14th Sector Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps, Anambra State.

He said ” we are indeed thankful to Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi, mni, MFR, NPoM, Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps for finding you worthy to serve the Nation in Anambra State Sector Command. From available records, you have been very supportive of the Corps Marshal in delivering on the mandate of the Corps since your assumption of duty. You have also remained a beacon of hope to this generation; always ready to lend a helping hand whenever called upon to do so. Your activities as the Corps Commander in charge of Anambra State Sector Command have indeed repositioned FRSC for Excellence.”

The Igwe wished the Sector Commander an impactful and positive stay in office to the benefit of Anambrarians.

The Sector Commander in his speech expressed gratitude for the warm reception of the Igwe and his cabinet members. He thanked the Igwe for his continuous support to FRSC Anambra State. He relayed the aim of FRSC which is to reduce Road Traffic Crashes and creating a safe Motoring Environment. He said in ensuring the aim of the Corps, FRSC engage in public Enlightenment Via different medium and also lias with communities through their traditional rulers. He said the 2021 Ember Months Safety Campaign theme is. ” Maintain Safe Speed, Avoid Night Travel, and enjoy Quality Road Experience” and he also informed His Royal Majesty that the Command will flag off the Safety Campaign on the 30th September, 2021. He wished Ndi Anambra a Safe Ember Months.

Good will Messages was done by selected individuals.
The Sector Commander signed the Visitor’s Register which was administered by Iche Nwachukwu Okonkwo, Secretary Igwe in Council, Ukpo.

The visit closed at 12:00hours with the Jinggle of the National anthem and a closing prayer.
