A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Anambra state, Chief Dennis Ngene, on Friday, asked Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo to step down his guber ambition and allowed Senator Andy Uba of the APC to assume fresh leadership of the state come March 17, 2022.

He said Soludo who is contesting the November 6th 2021 governorship under the platform of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), was made the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor, through the effort and connection of Andy Uba, under the Chief Olusegun Obasanjo’s administration.

Ngene mentioned Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iwela and Dr Oby Ezekwesili as those that had benefited from Andy Uba’s polical goodwill.

Why I am revealing this is to let APGA, PDP, ZLP, Accord Party, SDP, others to know that Senator Andy Uba of the APC remains the only politician in the state that can attract federal government presence to Ndi-Anambra and to ensure that the ongoing construction of the Second Niger Bridge, Enugu-Onitsha expressway and other developmental projects in the South East are completed to international standard.”

The APC stalwart, who revealed this to journalists in Awka while reacting to the defection of the Senator representing Anambra North at the National Assembly, Senator Stella Oduah, from PDP to APC, assured that APC under the acting leadership of Chief Basil Ejidike, Senator Joy Emodi, Senator Stella Oduah and the coming of another PDP House of Reps member, Honourable Chris Azogbugo, would win the forthcoming election victoriously. He described Senator Stella Oduah as a woman politician with foresight.
