ALDRAP petitions CJN over Blue Silk ranks
ALDRAP has asked the Chief Justice of Nigeria to affirm that its “Blue Silk” titles for non-litigation lawyers fall outside the Legal Practitioners Act, 1962.
Citing a recent Federal High Court ruling, the group said the NBA and Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee lack powers to regulate ranks not covered by the Act, amid opposition to the new titles.
