Akpabio appoints Okonkwo, Enyiekere, Chief, Deputy Chief of Staff
The President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has appointed Chief Sylvester Okonkwo as his Chief of Staff and Mr Saviour Enyiekere as his Deputy Chief of Staff.
A statement on Monday in Abuja from the Media Office of President of Senate made the disclosure in Abuja on Monday.
According to the statement, until Okonkwo’s appointment, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Chinto Technologies Limited, an ICT and telecommunications outfit.
Okonkwo attended Dennis Memorial Grammar School, Onitsha in Anambra.
He is also an alumni of the University of Nigeria, Enugu campus where he bagged a Bachelors Degree in Law.
Okonkwo, who hails from Ojoto in Idemili South LGA of Anambrai, is a corporate lawyer and an astute politician spanning more than two decades.
He was a senatorial aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2019.
Enyiekere, on his part, hails from Ika Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
He is an alumni of the University of Calabar and the deputy Director General of the Godswill Akpabio Senatorial Campaign Organisation.
He was a former two term Executive Chairman of Ika LGA, former Senior Special Assistant to Akwa Ibom State Government on Boundaries and Conflict Resolutions and former Board Member, Akwa Ibom State Road Maintenance Agency, among other achievements.(NAN)ww
