A popular philanthropist and founder of Acobarry Charity Foundation, Hon. Onyedika Chukwuma (Ikukuoma politics) has gifted a brand new high-powered generator set to a family to end their 12-year wait for electricity power supply.
The family belonged to Mr. Ugochukwu Muoghalu of Ndiakwu Otolo community in Nnewi North Local Government Area, Anambra State.
Ikengaonline reports that Mr Ugochukwu’s family has been living without electricity power supply for the past twelve years occasioned by hardship and poverty.
Handing over the item to the family, Hon Chukwuma said the gift was in the spirit of Valentine and his usual way of giving to the poor and downtrodden in society.
“On hearing total blackout at Mr Ugochukwu’s House for about 12 years, I immediately ordered for the supply of generator to his house,” he said.
Hon Chukwuma who said his organization focuses on high-impact community projects and capacity building, added that he has also made contact with Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) to restore power to Mr Ugochukwu’s house.
According to him, the gift that comes in the period of Valentine would not only put smiles on their face but encourage them to live in love and enjoy life just as others despite the current economic hardship.
Responding, Mrs. Eucharia Muoghalu, the wife of Mr Ugochukwu, while thanking the philanthropist burst into tears as she described him as a prayer answered in their family.
