Achalaorji Youths Movement Supports Ide Umuawulu’s political ambition

The Achalaorji Youths Movement (AYM) Ifite, Nibo, Awka South local government area Anambra state yesterday said though their brother is aspiring to represent the people of Awka North and South Federal constituency in the National Assembly, they are throwing their support to High Chief Dr Azubuike Ekweozor, Ide Umuawulu, Nwanayoeze also aspiring for the same position based on his antecedents.

President of AYM, Comrade Chinweze Igbokwe in was emphatic in his submission when he said: “Even though one of our brothers is also aspiring to represent the good people of Awka North and South Federal constituency in the National Assembly, we the Youths of Achalaorji, Ifite Nibo, is pledging our support for you Ide Umuawulu, assuring you that, all you need to do is to secure the ticket”.

Achalaorji Youths were in the residence of the APGA Frontline Aspiriant for the House of Representatives, Awka North and South federal constituency, High Chief Dr Azubuike Ekweozor (Ide Umuawulu) for a thank you visit.

www.odogwublog.com reports that Ide Umuawulu last month flagged of the construction of a 10km road in Nibo linking Achalaorji Nibo, Umuawulu and Mbaukwu to decongest Eke Nibo roundabout.

Premised on that, Youths of Achalaorji, Ifite Nibo decided to appreciate Ide Umuawulu for remembering them through the construction of that road.

Speaking, the leadership of AYM led by Comrade Chinweze Igbokwe noted that, the singular act by Ide Umuawulu was commendable and should not be over looked hence the thank you visit.

His words: ” Ide Umuawulu is a very good man. That’s why we embarked on this visit, despite the negative reactions of some of our people because of politics.

” We have had so many promises from different politicians as regards the road but non came to limelight. So, this days we now believe in actions not in mere spoken words.

“Despite the fact that one of our brother is also aspiring, but we the Youths of Achalaorji is pledging our support for you, all you need to do is to secure the ticket,” he maintained.

The Achalaorji Youths were accompanied by their wives cultural Troupe known as (Otu Chibueze cultural dance).

Reacting, Ide Umuawulu”s brother ,Chief Ugo Martins Ekweozor better known as (Obizi First son) described the visit as clear act of showing gratitude, which should be emulated by others.

Receiving his guests, Ide Umuawulu expressed shock that such level of gratitude is still existing among youths , noting that there is hope for Achalaorji youths and village by that act. He expressed fulfilment by the visit and assured them that the road construction is just the beginning of his impact in their lives, if God grants his heart desires to represent Awka North and South Federal constituency.

Dr Ekweozor advised them to go about canvassing to all the delegates and to educate them on the essence of voting him come 27th May 2022.

Ide Umuawulu reminded them that his ambition is practically on a rescue mission as well as damage control in Awka North and South constituency.

In their separate speeches, Nibo born supporters of Ide Umuawulu and members of his campaign team, Hon Emmanuel Anizoba, Chief Anayo Nnama and Prince Paul Ogudo restated the need for the youths to embark on a grassroot mobilization and door to door campaign to canvass some of the delegates to vote Ide Umuawulu.

They also described Ide Umuawulu as the best candidate that will win 💯 election for APGA when given the ticket of the party.

On the part of the Director General Ide Umuawulu campaign organization, Prince Chinedu Okafor, he re-emphasized the need for all to intensify consultation with all the delegates while he disclosed that there is high hope of positive outcome from the primary.

The Otu Chibueze cultural dance women wing, while joining their voices with their husbands through their representative and Chair lady , Mrs Mary Jane Nwude, assured Ide Umuawulu of their unreserved support and prayers.

Those present at the event where members of Ide Umuawulu campaign team and some supporters of his political ambition which included, Anthony Okeke(Njagidi),Hon Izuchukwu Chine(Okoto) among others.

The high point of the event was presentation of a beffitinng portrait of High Chief Dr Azubuike Ekweozor by the Youth chairman to their host, Dr Ekweozor.
