Ace Broadcaster floats Television station

Comrade Prince VinMartin Obiora Ilo, an experienced Journalist who majored in broadcasting has floated a Television station.
The outfit which is known as ‘SIGNATURE TELEVISION’ with the base at the ‘Thinkers Corner’ axis of the Enugu metropolis will be officially commissioned tomorrow, Wednesday, January 31st, as part of events to mark the 60th birthday of the founder, Prince VinMartin Ilo.
In a telephone chat, Prince Ilo said every structure and equipment for the take-off of Signature Television has been put on the ground. He said the station is designed for national coverage utilising digital technology.
He disclosed that he will use the opportunity of the commissioning to make a public presentation of his book, captioned ‘IN YOUR OWN WORDS’.
According to him, the book is a compilation of some interviews he conducted that were cast on television.
He said the event will be chaired by a former governor of Akwa-Ibom state, Obong Victor Attah while Senator Chris Ngige will head his book presentation.
Comrade Prince VinMartin Ilo will also use the opportunity of the event held at ‘The Base Event Center, Independence Layout, Enugu, to celebrate his one-day belated birthday (Tuesday, January 30) and 25th wedding anniversary.
Comrade Prince VinMartin Ilo started his journalism career about three decades ago. He made his mark as a broadcaster in the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria(FRCN), improved on his experience in some other stations but reached his climax at African Independent Television(AIT). Little wonder he named Signature Television House after the late High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, the founder of AIT.
Comrade VinMartin Ilo has also ventured into politics. He served as Special Adviser on Media Matters, under ex-Governor Sullivan Chime’s administration in Enugu state. In all, he has remained resolute in the Journalism profession.
