Access To Quality Healthcare: Dr. Onyemaechi Assures of ASHIA’s Committement To Ndi Anambra
In the light of the present global health challenge posed by coronavirus, it is very important that people take proper care of their health. Governor Willie Obiano a few years ago established the Anambra State Health Insurance Agency which avails our people the opportunity of accessing quality and affordable healthcare services in the state.
The Executive Secretary of ASHIA, Dr. Simeon Onyemaechi has assured that the Agency is committed to ensuring that all enrollees under the scheme have access to good and quality healthcare services across the state.
Dr. Onyemaechi made this known when he was reacting to questions posed at him by journalists in his office in Awka recently. He appealed to all beneficiaries of the scheme to always alert the Agency through their twenty-hour customer care number: 08021810222 and report any challenge or difficulty encountered so as to help them improve on their services
He used the opportunity to announce that government is renovating many primary health care centres across the state to enable beneficiaries have easy access to health centres wherever they are in Anambra, especially tough terrains in the state.
In conclusion, he appealed to wealthy individuals in the State to key into the adoption model of the Agency and register their friends, the poor and the vulnerable in the society with twelve thousand Naira only per person to benefit from all the health packages covered under the scheme per annum.
