AAU Alumni demand release of arrested students, police apology

The Ambrose Alli University Alumni Association condemned the police arrest of students protesting insecurity in Ekpoma, Edo State, calling it unlawful and a violation of constitutional rights.

They demanded the immediate release of all detained students, a public apology from the Edo State Police Commissioner, and an independent investigation into the arrests, while praising Governor Monday Okpebholo for addressing university staff issues.
