This is a cry for help.

247 Ureport founded by Ikenna Elis is reporting that in Nanka community, Orumba North LGA, a high-ranking vigilante official allegedly abducted and serially defiled a 13-year-old schoolgirl.

The victim is a junior secondary school student and daughter of a poor local Keke rider, Mr. Solomon Obodoaku.

The small girl went missing for over four days last week. Desperate to find his daughter, Mr. Obodoaku formally reported the disappearance of his daughter to the local vigilante office.

Unfortunately he didnt know he was reporting the matter to the same officer who abducted his daughter.

The name of the officer is one Onyeanuna.

And the accused vigilante official deceitfully joined the community in search of the missing girl l, while secretly keeping the girl inside his own residence.

It was said that he later released the girl and thr€atened her not to speak. The 13 year old girl was traumatised but under very intensive interrogation by the father, the victim detailed how she was kept locked inside Onyeanuna’s house for nearly five days, prevented from stepping outside or attending school, while being subjected to repeated sexual assault.

Following the revelation, vigilante operatives apprehended Onyeanuna. During a preliminary interrogation, the suspect vehemently denied the allegations until he was confronted with the v!ctim’s graphic and accurate description of his home.

Our media team gathered that the village security has arrested Onyeanuna and that he has remained in their custody since yesterday.

Because he is one of them, they have refused to invite the police and hand him over.

A source disclosed that some stakeholders in the village are plotting to get Onyeanuna released without any trial amd prosecution.

This is unacceptable.

The state govt should step in immediately.

The Nigeira police should commence investigation.

There must be justice for the 13 year old girl who was defiled and assaulted.
