A Communique By Coalition Of Anambra Youth Leaders (CAYL) In Awka.

1. We commence with expression of our profound gratitude to the Great Anambra Youths, for we were the most peaceful, organized and responsible during the  Nationwide #EndSars Protest.

2. We also commend the Government of Anambra State, especially the Governor- Chief Dr. Willie M. Obiano (Akpokuodike Aguleri), for  being attentive and genuinely responsive to all the demands of Anambra Youths during the #EndSars Protest. Indeed, Anambra was Exceptionally Peaceful and Healthy with zero casualties, until the Lawful  Protest March was hijacked with Violence.

3. Our attention has been drawn to the intelligence/rumour that a Second Phase of #EndSars Protest shall commence on Monday 7th December 2020, with so many threats of attack and violence on Anambra State.on this note, we call on all Anambra Youths, home and abroad, to rise up and protect our dear State from these hoodlums.

4. Anambra is a commercial hub where almost all Africans visit and/or reside for one business or the other.Therefore, Anambra Youth will not participate in any form of Protest and/or Attack that shall affect livelihood and stability in Anambra State.

5. We hereby caution and warn all non indigenes, who reside and/or visit Anambra State, to desist from any action and inaction that shall sabotage the Peace, Security and Serenity that we enjoy in Anambra State.

6. We call on the ever gallant Security Agencies in Anambra State, to also rise up to the occasion and gird their loins in defense of our dear State. 

7. We, the Anambra Youths, hereby pledge our unreserved support to complement and sustain the resolve of the State Government to absolute Security of Lives and Property in Anambra State.

8. Finally, we must commend the Determination, Transparency and Resilience of the Anambra State Judicial Panel of Inquiry on Police Brutality, Extrajudicial Killings and other related matters led by Justice VN Umeh rtd., for her resolve to ensure Justice to Nigerians who were victims of the dreaded defunct SARS.
