There’s ticking timebomb in Chelsea’s dressing room – Carragher notifies Tuchel
Jamie Carragher has warned Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel that he is bargaining with a ‘timebomb’ in the mold of Romelu Lukaku.
Lukaku came back to Chelsea last summer in a £97million move from Inter.
The Belgian started the season on a bright note but has lost his form and was heavily criticsed by Tuchel for his listless recent displays against Manchester City and Brighton.
Carragher is of the opinion that the Blues should sell Lukaku in June in order to put together a squad truly capable of winning the Premier League.
“Thomas Tuchel is managing the same striker who prompted Manchester United to run out of patience and sell him to Inter Milan,” the Liverpool legend told Telegraph.
“That’s why I can’t help but think there is a timebomb in the Chelsea dressing room, with the player and club already losing patience with each other.”
