In line with the innovative healthcare vision of the Anambra State Government under Governor Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, the Anambra State AIDS Control Agency (ANSACA) is taking another major step in strengthening the State HIV response through digital innovation.

On Tuesday, September 22, 2026, ANSACA will unveil its Telehealth Service and Maiden Newsletter at Hilton Leisure, Awka, under the theme:

“Harnessing Digital Innovation to Strengthen the HIV Response: Bridging Communities and Advancing Health in Anambra State.”

The ANSACA Telehealth Service is designed to bring credible HIV information and professional guidance closer to Ndi Anambra. Through dedicated remote channels, people will be able to access information on HIV prevention, testing, treatment, adherence and sexual health, ask questions confidentially, and receive appropriate referrals to health facilities and services where necessary.

The service will complement physical healthcare by helping to bridge barriers of distance, privacy and access, while providing an official and reliable channel for HIV-related information.

Our Maiden Newsletter will document ANSACA’s programmes, community interventions, partnerships, achievements and progress across the State HIV response, strengthening transparency, public awareness and stakeholder engagement.

These innovations reflect our commitment to building a modern, accessible and people-centred HIV response, leveraging technology and communication to reach more people and connect communities to the services they need.
