Ezinne Joy Onyekuba Celebrates 90 In Grand Style…. Reveals Secrets Of Her Longevity

23rd December 2025 has come and gone but the memories are lingering.

That was the day the Onyekuba’s of Umubele Village, Awka gathered to celebrate their matriarch, Ezinne Joy Onyekuba in grandeur.

The Late Ozoemena Onyekuba’s compound, Umubele Awka became a beehive of activities as old, young and young at heart all gathered to celebrate Ezinne Joy Onyekuba at 90.

For her daughter Mrs. Ngozi Egbuonu, it was a thriller and a thanksgiving of a kind for their mum who defied all odds to clock 90.

Throughout the four hours plus mama sat smiling and joyous at the heartfelt memories being thrown at her by faces of family members , close and distant relatives, friends, and well wishers as well as various organizations she belonged to.

It was a great honour for everyone who attended as each sought for the blessing of old age to be tapped.

She danced with grace, panache and prestige even as guests presented Mama Joy with gifts and warm wishes.

Surprisingly, her secrets of longevity and fulfilling life were her faith in God, love from family, and her positive spirit about living style.

An Anglican Priest under grace, Reverend Samuel Okoye praised the selfless and voluntary services of Mama Joy in the church and society, describing her as a virtuous woman and a mother general.

Her children led by Mr Anayo Onyekuba praised their mother’s love, guidance, and dedication to family which has led them thus far, praying for God’s blessings and more grace.

Justice Chinyelu Kalajine Anigbogu retired, were among others who witnessed the 90th birthday celebration.
