Onitsha South Stakeholders Forum Endorses Mayor Orji For Second Tenure

To ensure continuity for his good governance, the Onitsha South Local Government Stakeholders Forum has thrown its weight behind Mayor Hon. Chief Emeka Orji for a second term in office.
While speaking at the event which was held at the Council Secretariat, the forum led by the Chairman Chief Linus Ezenkwu (Nkwubuego), cited the mayor’s good governance and numerous achievements in the area as reasons for their endorsement.
Ezenkwu also highlighted the improvements in the area since the emergence of Governor Prof. Charles Soludo and Mayor Orji.
He listed some of the mayor’s notable achievements, including the procurement of a transformer for the local government secretariat, a firefighting machine, and the construction of a fire service station. Ezenkwu also commended the mayor for attracting road construction projects to the area.
The Stakeholders Chairman expressed confidence that Mayor Orji’s administration would continue to deliver more benefits to the people, given the numerous achievements already recorded. “Having witnessed a lot of achievements in his administration, we hereby endorse him for a second term,” Ezenkwu declared.
In their separate remarks, the APGA Chairman of the area, Hon.Uche Umennakenyi, the former PG Housing Estate, Hon.Afam Udogaranya, House of Assembly aspirant, Hon.Sylvester Okafor, PGs Odoakpu and Woliwo, Hon Okey Ifeudu and Chief Ifeanyi Onwuegbuchunam, CEO Admin Oil and Gas, Hon.Promise Egbeji, and High Chief Ikechukwu Ezike, expressed satisfaction on mayor’s good governance and supported his endorsement.
Earlier in his address, Orji stated that there is a lot to do in the area adding that it required a strength of its own. He emphasized on discovered lands of Onitsha South Local Government, adding that it is not being recovered for his personal property but for public interest/use.
The event witnessed party faithful like the former APGA House of Representative candidate, Hon. Mrs Anthonia Tabansi, The Deputy Chairman Hon Onyebuchi Obi, PGs Fegge and Housing, Chief Okwudili Obinwune and Obiora Egbuna, the Councillors, APGA Wards Chairmen, among others
