PDP Urges Benue Govt to Enforce Anti-Open Grazing Law
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Benue State has called on Governor Hyacinth Alia to urgently enforce the state’s anti-open grazing law to address the worsening security crisis.
In a statement on Thursday, PDP spokesperson Tim Nyor reaffirmed support for the 2017 law, warning against attempts to weaken or repeal it. The party emphasized there is no land in Benue for open grazing, urging swift government action to protect lives, farmlands, and community peace.
