CWEENS Seeks National Database to Track Sexual Offenders
The Christian Women for Excellence and Empowerment in Nigerian Society (CWEENS) has called for a national database to track sexual violence offenders, especially in conflict zones.
Describing the crisis as a humanitarian emergency, the group urged gender-responsive policing, women-led task forces, and support for survivors, noting most victims are female and often know their attackers.
