Ayra Starr Wins Best International Act at 2025 BET Awards
Nigerian Afrobeats star Ayra Starr has won the 2025 BET Award for Best International Act, beating Tyla, Rema, and Black Sherif. The ceremony, held at Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater, was hosted by comedian Kevin Hart.
This marks Ayra Starr’s first BET win after multiple past nominations. Kendrick Lamar was the night’s biggest winner, taking home four awards including Album of the Year.
