Senate Forms Committee to Oversee Rivers Administrator

The Senate has formed an 18-member committee to oversee the activities of Rivers State Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas. Senate President Godswill Akpabio announced the move, emphasizing the need for transparency and accountability in the state’s governance.
Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele will chair the committee, which is tasked with ensuring effective oversight. Akpabio stressed the urgency of the committee’s work and the Senate’s commitment to upholding democracy in Rivers.
