Soludo Declares APGA A Leading Party In Democracy Dividends….Thanked God For Supreme Court Judgement

The Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has described All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) as the party known to be foremost in delivery of the dividends of democracy to the masses.
Prof. Soludo said this in a thanksgiving Mass at St. Jude’s Catholic Parish, Fegge, Onitsha in appreciation of the victory of the National Chairman, APGA, Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa in a Supreme Court of Nigeria.
The governor also said that APGA party will continue to be stronger day by day, adding that the first and second APGA governors in the state, Mr. Peter Obi and Dr. Willie Obiano respectively achieved remarkable infrastructural developments in the state.
He said that himself has taken the mantle three years ago to ensure that more democracy dividends are delivered to the doorsteps of Ndi Anambra.

While thanking God for his grace and mercy which led to the victory of the party National Chairman, the governor urged Barr. Ezeokenwa to use his youthful ingenuity to pilot the affairs of the party effectively.
Prof. Soludo described Barr. Ezeokenwa as a seasoned lawyer who has paid his dues in the party for a long time, urged him to be courageous in his responsibility as a National party leader to sustain the Progress of the party.
The Host, Mayor, Onitsha South Local Government Area, Hon Chief Emeka Orji thanked the Governor for making our time despite his tight schedule to honour the invitation, described him as a working Governor who has constructed 18 roads only in Onitsha South, exclusive of the modern Ochanja Oduigbo market and the first ever General Hospital in the area.
He also disclosed the first new modern fire brigade service station he is constructing at Silas works road noting that all these are under Governor Charles Soludo administration, assured him of the massive support of the people of the area.
In his homily, Most Rev. Jonas Benson Okoye, the Catholic bishop of Nnewi Diocese thanked God for giving Barr. Ezeokenwa victory in his court case, praised Ezeokenwa’ s strong faith while describing him as a man of good heart.
The Cleric urged the Ezeokenwa to always stand by the truth as such will always help him to succeed in life battles, saying that “God has helped you to succeed, always make sure you do the right thing as a child of God’, Bishop added.
The Bishop also advised fathers who celebrated Fathers’ Sunday to be strong and courageous in their fatherly role, urged them to endeavour to bring up Godly children who will contribute positively to the growth and development of the society.
The Bishop tasked mothers to be praying for their husbands and also take care of them for them to live to train their children and as well enjoy the fruits of their labour.
Barr. Ezeokenwa in his words of appreciation dedicated his court victory to God Almighty whom he said showed him mercy, stated that God showed up for him even when many lies have been manufactured by his enemies to pull him down.
He also thanked Prof. Soludo for standing by him during his trial period, adding that he would not have been the National Chairman of APGA if the governor did not have confidence in him.
According to the APGA National Chairman, his court victory will end permanently the crisis rocking the party, thanked Most. Rev. Benson Okoye for his fatherly care towards him and his family.
