Speaking at a journalism event in Osogbo, Owolade praised Governor Ademola Adeleke’s commitment to prioritizing healthcare in Osun State, citing plans for enhanced funding in 2025. He acknowledged the strain on tertiary healthcare institutions due to underfunding and staff shortages, urging greater government intervention. Owolade emphasized the financial demands of healthcare and called for adherence to WHO standards for patient-to-nurse ratios.
