5th Convocation Ceremony: Onyechi Installed as Chancellor, Paul University

Paul University, Awka has installed the Chief Executive Officer and President of West Lake Pharmacy Inc, Florida U.S.A, High Chief Dr. Napoleon Onyechi as chancellor of the institution
Onyechi who held from Abagana in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra state is a pharmacist, Philanthropist and a Community leader.
The Acting Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Obiora Nwosu made the announcement during the 5th combined convocation ceremony held yesterday at Paul University Auditorium hall, Awka.
In his homily, a Member, Governing Council of the institution, Archbishop Province of the Niger and Bishop Diocese of Awka, The Most Rev. Dr. Alexander Chibuzo Ibezim. PhD, urged the convocating students to be good ambassadors of the institution and never sacrifice their faith for firm.
His words: “Never let the voice of success silence your conscience. Remove hardwork and see how the system will collapse. Determination without Godliness leads to ambition without conscience. The world you are entering is competitive, use your knowledge not only to earn a living but to navigate through .
The newly installed Chancellor of the institution Dr. Napoleon Onyechi congratulated the graduating students and said “you have crossed academic line, you battled with assignments, battled with dateline, attended lectures, survived all elements of corrections and re-bindings.
“In this convocation, we have 12 first class students, 259 Second Class Upper division among other grades and all the Courses offered by the institution were all accredited by Nigeria University Commission.
“Your decree is an amour, it is a departure lounge. Delays may come on your way, just fasting your seat belt of integrity. Carry your luggage of values. I trust your training here at Paul University for the safe landing .
To those receiving honorary degrees
and honorary doctorate degrees, it is a call for action, nurture young minds . Let your generosity match your greatness,
“To our alumni , I urge you to give back to your community. Be active builder, together, we can build scholarships.
“This varsity rest on three points: values, academic excellence and societal transformation.
As a chancellor, my vision is to supretend proud university with great competitiveness but locally rooted.
“Finally, let us think, rise and build together as an academics.

Pro chancellor, Dr. Emeka Eze, the Deputy vice chancellor of the institution, Prof.Chinyere Stella Okunna, the Commissioner for Education, Anambra state, Prof. Ngozi Chukwuma Ude who represented Gov. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, the Vice Chancellor, Anambra State University, Igbariam, Prof.
Kate Azuka Omenugha and Vice Chancellor, Nnamdi Azikiwe University,
