2024 father’s day : CMO to honorSen. Nwoye, Reps Gwacham, petroleum commissioner, others

Catholic Men Organization, CMO, St.Augustine Parish, 3-3 Omife, Nkwelle- Ezunaka, Oyi Local Government Area, Anambra State, will on Sunday, 5th May, bestow meritorious services Awards to some of its distinguished members who have rendered and still rendering selfless services to God and humanity in appreciation of their immense contributions towards spreading the gospel.

The Chairman of Organizing Committee and Anambra State Chairman, Civil Liberties Organization, Evangelist comrade Vincent Ezekwueme, flanked by the Chairman Chief Francis Agidi, his deputy, Sir Ebuka Chukwudobelu and Secretary, Mr.Sylvester Ogboji, stated that the event will be spiritually filled as it will give members opportunity to reappraise their achievements to their families, church, society and identify areas that need improvements.

The epoch making event will be under the distinguished chairmanship of Sir/Lady Dr.Tony Chinedu, whereas Distinguished Senator Dr.Tony Nwoye, is expected to be the Chief Guest of Honour and Hon Maureen Gwacham, representing Oyi/Ayamelum in the Federal House of Representative and Hon.Commissioner For Petroleum and Mineral resources Barr.Tony Ifeanya, will be the special guests of honour and Hon.Sir Emeka Akanegbu, guest of Honour.

Award wining DPO, CPS, Mr. Rabiu Garuba, will deliver lecture on the role of police in protection of lives and properties of citizens, whereas Chairman Civil Liberties Organization, Anambra State Evangelist Comrade Vincent Ezekwueme will speak on the role of CMO in the families and the church.

According to the chairman, Mr.Francis Agidi, the highlights of the event, include bestowing meritorious services awards to some distinguished members, including Hon.Com.Tony Ifeanya, Owelle Sir Tony Chinedu, Chief Thank God Okafor, Chief Nnamdi Iwuji, Chief Chimezie Osuji and others.

Among the activities lined up include, cultural dance, selection of Igwe/Onowu/breaking of kolanuts, cutting of CMO 2024 Fathering Sunday anniversary cake among others.
