A coalition of women groups and advocates of women empowerment under the aegis of Osodieme Frontiers Movement (OFM) has vowed to purchase Nomination and Expression of Interest (EOI) Forms for former First Lady of Anambra State, HE Chief Dr Mrs.

Ebelechukwu Obiano(Osodieme) to enable her get nominated as All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Candidate for Anambra North Senatorial District in 2023.

The Group disclosed this in statement made available to newsmen on Monday in Awka.

They explained that plan has already been concluded by the group to ensure that HE Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano is supported, to emerge as the Senatorial Candidate, so that she can bring to bear her tireless dedication and dexterity in mobilization and empowerment of the womenfolk across Anambra State which was evident in the last eight years of husband’s administration.

Osodieme Frontiers Movement clamour for Osodieme at the 10th Senate, is to enable her replicate the outstanding feat she has achieved in the areas of charity, poverty alleviation and upliftment of the downtrodden as a well-known advocate of good governance and equal opportunity for all.

They reiterated the group’s determination to mobilise funds to purchase the Senatorial form for Osodieme, adding that they have no doubt that, as a Senator, the former First Lady will be active and a vocal legislator who will attract federal projects, employment for our children as well as protection of the interest of  vulnerable groups at all levels.

The Osodieme Frontiers Movement is one of the women groups in Anambra State who have been working behind the scene in support of the Senatorial aspiration of Mrs Obiano.
