2023 Election: Okpoko ward 5 Councillor vows to deliver APGA candidates in Ogbaru

The Transition Councillor of Okpoko ward 5 in Ogbaru LGA, Anambra State, Hon. Okorie Okezie Frank popularly known as Rummy concept has vowed to deliver Hon. Arinzechukwu Awogu, Hon. Linus Ezenwama and Chief Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano who he said were vying for various political positions in the fortcoming 2023 general election in Nigeria.
Rummy concept made the vow in an interview with newsmen in Nkpikpa, Okpoko Community shortly after his Child dedication and thanksgiving ceremony, recently.
He disclosed that what prompted his Child dedication was to appreciate God for His goodness in him as the only Son of his biological parents as well as in his family, adding that God has been kind to him since he joined APGA party.
” I was introduced to APGA party by Hon. Benson Nwawulu. I was following him with patience and humility. Although, I supposed to become the Councillor of my ward since 3 years ago but one thing or the other cropped up. Hon. Awogu Called me Rummy, you have to wait; I obeyed him and one of my ward colleaques by name Stanley Ukachukwu a.k.a Akpati” was made the Councillor.
“Then, when the tenure of Akpati expired, it became my turn but my ward Chairman wanted to thwart it . Since I joined APGA, I have never lost election in my polling unit (005). Then, Hon. Awogu, Hon. Linus Ezenwama and Chief Dave More waded into the matter and said it would be my turn to be the Councillor ward 5. But, still, some other people wanted to divert it again. But, God said no.
“So, I believe so much in APGA party and that’s why I will make sure that the party will emerge victorious in Okpoko especially in my ward in the fortcoming 2023 election.”
Hon. Okezie reiterated that 2023 election will be for APGA party in Ogbaru LG ranging from State House of Assembly, Hon. Linus Ezenwama and Hon. Emmanuel Uzonwanne, Ogbaru Federal House of Representative, Hon. Arinzechukwu Awogu, and Anambra North Senatorial seat, Chief Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano.
” 2023 will be APGA all the way !. We’re moving and I will make sure I deliver APGA even if it requires me using my own resources, I will offer them. I will urge my ward members to follow my footsteps, with God all things are possible” Said Rummy concept.
Responding, Hon. Arinzechukwu Awogu who was conspicuousely present at the occasion said, “Today is for merriment. Today is the day of joy. We are celebrating the goodness of God in the life of Rummy concept and wife for their Child dedication.
“One thing with Rummy is if you don’t know his level of humility. When we saw him, we had courage to have him as a new politican . We are happy we have him as one of our Councillors representing Nkpikpa. We have taken notice of what Nkpikpa lacks . We have seen that Nkpikpa needs access Roads and we are promising Nkikpa that outside the State government’s road projects in Okpoko, Nkpikpa is in our list of those we will build access Roads.
“We believed that Nkpikpa Community is solidly behind APGA and they will vote for APGA on February 25, 2023. We will make sure we provide Nkpikpa with access Roads.”
Similarly, the Transition Council Chairman of Ogbaru LG, Hon. Pascal Aniegbuna described Hon. Okorie Okezie Frank as a cheerful and a personality which he said attracted his friendship with the Party. He pleaded Nkpikpa Community to endeavour to vote APGA all the way during the election and advised them to conduct peaceful election for their new president general.
