It’s funny and of course appalling how the populace are robbed off their consciences and used as political tools by desperate and selfish political aspirants to erroneously achieve their political ambitions.

Just like a fowl attracted with grains, caught and afflicted with pain by plucking off it’s feathers, thereby, causing blood to drip-gush and cover it’s body. Even in excruciating pain and gushing of blood_ aftermath of it’s uprooted feathers, foolishly and sheepishly the fowl ran back to the very feet of it’s afflicter Io hustle for another grain.

The above narration is a clear illustration and indication of what many Nigerians has turned themselves into: “Senseless Fowls” who allowed mere incentives of temporal benefits suppress their rational senses; thereby, resulting to lose of freedom, power, dignity, respect, and in electoral processes their votes; which has over times and would likely cause years of another rounds of misfortune.

The decision or opinion of any man can only be considered active only when majority of others decides to accept or adhere to it; if not, no matter how beautiful such opinion may seem, it’s as good as useless.

Many of us, Nigerians, have solidified out interests on what political aspirants or party candidates will offer during electoral processes against the genuineness of personality and capacity that they are blinded by temporal gains that they lost clue of their worth, especially as it concerns political matters of this country.

Dear Nigerians, it’s high time we prove our worth. Starting by shunning party, religious and ethnicity sentiments. Rather, in all sincerity, let’s look out for candidates with leadership competence, integrity, verifiable antecedent and capacity; let party serve as a mere platform to identify with against sentiments.
