2023 Election: Cleric urges Christians to seat up, defend their Faith

As Nigerian general election approaches, Reverend Ossy Oguaka has urged Christians to be extremely vigilant and make sure they use the opportunity to defend their faith by electing a Christian Candidate.

Oguaka, a retired Anglican priest  from Ogbaru diocese unequivocally stated that Christianity is the best religion among other religions one could think of, positing that when a Christian leader is enthrone as the Head of state, there would be a positve leadership style.

He, however, disclosed that Christian’s doctrines embedded in maintaining peace, law and order as well as expresses love to one another which he said other religions do not  observe, even as he said non Christian religions only interested in acquiring power and money.

” Christians should seat up in this forth coming election so that they could clinch power and teach other religions how to be in leadership and also to prove that there is a clear distinction between Christianity and other religions” 

The clergy further reminded Christian priests to live up to expectations on their discharge of God’s services by bringing people to God through their attitudes and characters.

” If a priest failed to do his duty by preaching the words of God and bringing people to God as the bases of being an ordained Christian priest, the aim of his priest hood is absolutely defeated. The Bible said, every Christian stands a witness of God and a witness is all about bringing people into the ship of God” Rev. Oguaka posited !
