2022 Miss Nigeria Integration Beauty Pageant to hold in FCT – Organisers

The 2022 edition of Miss Nigeria Integration Beauty Pageant (MNIBP), an initiative geared towards promoting peaceful co-existence among Nigerians and women empowerment, is set to hold in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Mirabel Etuk, Founder and President of Bella Amor Aid Foundation, organisers of the annual beauty fiesta disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria(NAN) on Monday in Abuja.

According her, the grand finale of the pageant will hold in the FCT on November 20, in which  seven Beauty Queens will be crowned , representing  each of the six-geographical zones and FCT, the nation’s capital.

She explained that the Queens would champion the campaign for peace and national integration, as well as women and children empowerment , in line with the mandate of the foundation.

“We need to  spread the message of peace and unity among Nigerians, especially as the 2023 elections approaches, and will have chosen the FCT to host this edition as our centre of unity.

“Registration for this year edition has started nationwide and it will end on September 30, which will be followed by audition and camping, before the grand finale will hold on November 20, 2022.

 “The empowerment of women and the under privileged is a cardinal aspect of our vision as a foundation over these years, and this will be passionately pursue along with the emerging queens.

Etuk  noted that gender-based violence was also an unhealthy trend that the foundation  was fighting through its campaigns, which the emerging  queens  were  expected  to champion as well.

She  added that child labour and the increasing numbers of out-of school- children  was also a concern to the foundation and was working  towards empowering   underprivileged  mothers.

“When you empower a woman, you empower a community because she will in turn empower her children and provide for them and this the  foundation have been able to do over these years.

 “However, we need more hands and that is why  we started sourcing for the beautiful young talented, focused, determined young ladies and most especially the ones who have love for their communities,”

She however, called on relevant government bodies and Nigerians of goodwill to join hand with the Bella Amor Aid Foundation in its quest for a peaceful and secured society. (NAN)
