2022: Anambra State Assembly Speaker Reassures Ndị Anambra Of Quality Laws, Resolutions
The Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Uche Okafor has assured Ndi Anambra that the State Legislature would continue to enact laws and resolutions aimed at uplifting the living standard of the citizenry as well as the total development of the state.
In his new year message, Right Honourable Okafor described the new year 2022 as a year of abundant progress for the state and the citizenry.
The Speaker called on politicians in the state irrespective of their party affiliations to join hands with Governor Willie Obiano in moving the state to greater heights, adding that the Governor-Elect Professor Chukwuma Soludo has all it takes to run a purposeful and successful government by the grace of God and support of the citizenry.
He urged various religious bodies in the state to intensify prayers for the continuous peace and progress of the state and shun acts capable of bringing disunity in the state.
Right Honourable Okafor enjoined security operatives, traditional rulers, Presidents-General of various communities in the state to complement Governor Obiano’s security initiatives by fishing out miscreants in their localities.
While wishing Ndi Anambra a happy and prosperous new year, the Speaker commended them for their faith in the All-Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) which they demonstrated during the last governorship election in the state by massively electing Professor Chukwuma Soludo as the next governor of the state.
