100 Anambra Achievers Team Felicitates with Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu and Prof Josephat Ogbuagu On Their Birthdays

Awka – The 100 Anambra Achievers team has felicitated with the duo of Prof. Josephat Ogbuagu and Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu on their birthdays today describing them as Igbo icons and true ambassadors of their respective careers, who have blazed the trails in their different callings, followed the dictates of their convictions and have shown inspirational leadership.

In a goodwill message to the celebrants signed by Barr. Lizzy Anyaonu and released to the media, the group recounted how Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu blazed the trail as the first Igbo man and the first non-indigene to represent the FCT in the federal house of representative where he offered quality representation and made Ndi Igbo proud.

The group further recounted that the history of real estate development in Abuja cannot be complete without the role Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu played as the developer of the biggest estate owned single handedly by an individual (Prince & Princess).

According to Barr Anyaonu, Prince Ukachukwu has shown capacity, astuteness and resilience in every business venture he engages in and has shown commitment to the development of Igbo land through the factories he has set up in the east , empowerment of many Anambrarians, Evangelism, and his community development initiatives, particularly in Osumenyi his hometown.

Similarly, the group extolled the virtues of Prof. Josephat Ogbuagu, a humble academia and administrator per excellence who gave Federal College of Education Technical, Umunze, a facelift making the institution a citadel of learning to be reckoned with in Nigeria. In their separate message to him, the group commended the era of Prof Ogbuagu as the golden era of that Institution which had so many course accredited and saw to massive infrastructural development in that college.

The group further described the period he held sway as the Chairman, Council of Provosts of all Federal Colleges of Education in Nigeria as one of the tenures that was free from industrial strife, when all the provosts spoke with one voice and took downing of tools as the last resort in ‘Employer and Employee’ relation; stating that this may not be unconnected with the reason the government of Anambra state at the end of his tenure as Provost, appointed him the chairman of Anambra State Primary Health Care Development Agency, which has seen dynamism and much growth since he assumed authority.

The group urged the duo not to rest on their oars in their good work towards the development of the State and prayed God to continue to guide them in their present and future endeavors.
