Xmas: Anambra Market exco, Prayer Group Empower I00 Indigent people With #2m

The Executives of New Auto Spare Parts market, Nkpor, Idemili North Local Government Area, Anambra State, led by Chief Stephen Oforleh,( a.k.a Award), in collaboration with the market evangelism team, Thursday , empowered no fewer than 100 indigent people within and outside the market with whopping sum of #2million
Speaking shortly after the market weekly prayer session, Chief Oforleh, stated that they have chosen today for their good “Samaritan day for the down trodden.
” We, the market executives in collaboration with the evangelism team decided to empower each with #20,000 depending on your categories.Our Security Men, Raffle Association in the market and outsiders
“Due to the situation of the country, the market executives pleaded with the traders on free will donation through the evangelical team in the market. We decided to empower more people unlike before it was evangelism group programme.
“This year is different because we, the executives came into it unlike before, so no one is exempted in today’s programme, it has been laid down programme we do before now, so this year, it is now New Parts Affair. The number of indigents are more because we made it New Parts programme,” he stated.
He advised the indigents to also extend the kind gesture to others stating that” You are here today doesn’t mean there are people you are not better than, continue the good work, it is the spirit of Christmas”.
On his Christmas message, he said “it is not a do or die affair”, stating that Christmas is a continuous and yearly event which should be more of giving, helping, loving one another, an avenue of getting together, meeting our long distanced friends, relations that come for Christmas.
“Let us not use all these material attachments being used by the youths of these days, get rich quick syndrome to replace the ethics of Christmas, and I pray that we would all get together again next year without anyone being wanting,” he prayed.
Pastor Innocent Nwafor, the Coordinator, New Auto Parts Evangelism Team, in an interview expressed his happiness for the successful programme, “Good Samaritan Day” stating that it is annual programme apart from last year that there was no market prayer in the state due to COVID-19 pandemic saga.
“Our prayer is that none of these people assisted today would remain as they are, these token would be multiplied as they chanel it to their businesses or whatever good they would utilize it for, they would be among the givers”,he prayed.
The market weekly prayer was led by the initiator of the market evangelism team, one time coordinator of the team, Deacon Emeka Chukwueze.
