As part of activities to mark their get-together, Virtuous Ladies Of Integrity And Valour Association have visited Mother of Christ Compassionate Home For The Needy And Abandoned which situated at Oguta Road, Onitsha North Local government, Anambra State.

The visit comprised few members of the Association and executives led by the founder of the Association, Mrs. Rose Mary Ajoko and provided them opportunity to celebrate with one of the aged Mother who marked her birthday, tapping blessings of old age and interacted with aged ones who were kept at the old people’s home which share the same premises with the orphanage home.
However, Mrs Ajoko introduced the Association to the Management of the orphanage home, explaining to them that they were celebrating get-together and they want to celebrate it with the Children in the orphanage home.
She further disclosed that they actually came on behalf of their members and they need prayers from the Children for the Almighty God to grant them long life with good health, progress and peace in their respective family.

Responding, one of the Rev. Sisters who are managing the Orphanage Home, Rev. Sr. Manuella Maria lauded the Association for their gesture, saying that God cultivate in the vine yard of those who cultivate in His own vine yard.
She cited gospel of St. Matthew Chapter 25:42 which according to her would be one of the bases of judgement in the last day, assuring them that God would crown their visit with testimony adding that they will never encounter obstacles in their lives and God would continue to protect them as well as prosper their Association.
Speaking shortly after the visit, the founder of the Association, Mrs Rose Mary Chinenye Ajoko noted that their purpose of visiting orphanage home was to celebrate get together with Motherless babies, explaining that the visit equally offered them opportunity to interact with aged parents, celebrated birthday with one of them as well as tapped blessings of old age.
Mrs Ajoko who doubles as the leader of the Association expressed joy over the visit, stating that there is a great benefits in remembering the less Privileged, Motherless babies and those in needy, pointing out that identifying with such categories of people paves way of success both spiritually and physically which she said no one could explain.
“The fact is that spiritual benefits is greater than the physical one and I am sure that our visit to orphanage would fetch us open door of prosperity, protection and long life with good health. Although, this is not the first time we embarked on such visit. If there was no benefits in our previous visit, we wouldn’t have been stressing ourselves to continue the visit again” Said Ajoko.
She therefore harmered on the imperative of almsgiving, visiting Motherless babies and corporal work of mercy which according to her alleviate challenges of Childless and other afflictions.
“So, my humble appeal to my members is that they should never relent in remembering those in needy and orphanage once in a while with their family. There is gain and that was why we made it mandatory for every member to contribute no matter how little so that each family would derive the blessings from Motherless babies”
“The contribution also included our members who are living in diaspora because we all know that the blessings from Motherless babies are enormous. What we planning by grace of God is that by the end of this year we would be able to visit another orphanage home. What we are seeking for is long life with good health upon each and everyone of us and our various family” Mrs Ajoko concluded.
The Association donated the following items to the Motherless babies; Cash, Cartons of Indomie, Assorted Chivita drinks, Tissue paper, Packets of Milkrich sweet, Chizy bons, Parle Gold biscuits amongst other
