Tinubu Commissions Lekki Port Access Road, Unveils Infrastructure Push Nationwide

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commissioned the Lekki Deep Sea Port Access Road in Lagos, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to nationwide infrastructure development under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Constructed under Nigeria’s Tax Credit Scheme, the concrete road links the Lekki Deep Sea Port to inland logistics networks, promising smoother cargo movement, reduced congestion, and lower transport costs. Tinubu praised the project as a model for private-sector-led growth.
“Transport infrastructure is the lifeblood of economic development,” the President said. “From Lagos to Kano, Warri to Zaria, this administration is laying down a new architecture of growth.”
He also announced key road projects across Northern Nigeria, including the Kano–Kongolam Road, Kano–Kanwar–Danja–Hadejia Road, and several rural access roads, aimed at boosting trade, food security, and regional integration.
Tinubu assured that strategic projects like the Abuja–Kaduna–Kano Expressway and Benin–Warri Road will receive accelerated attention.
“Whether in the North, South, East, or West, we are building roads that connect not just communities but destinies,” he affirmed.
