Senior Naval Officer Stabbed to Death in Kaduna Robbery Attempt

A senior naval officer, Lieutenant Commodore M. Buba, was stabbed to death by a suspected robber at Kawo Bridge in Kaduna while attempting to change a flat tyre.

The assailant, who tried to steal Buba’s phone, fatally stabbed him when he resisted. A local vigilante who intervened was also injured. The attacker was later lynched by bystanders.
Buba, a student at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji, was declared dead on arrival at Manaal Hospital. His body has been moved to 44 Army Reference Hospital.
Authorities have launched covert operations to clear criminal elements in Kaduna. Police have confirmed the incident and pledged increased security.
