Police Arrest Three Suspects for Motorcycle Theft in Bauchi

The Bauchi State Police Command has apprehended three individuals for stealing a motorcycle and attempting to sell it. The theft, reported on December 16, 2024, was made by Haruna Maguwa, who claimed his Boxer motorcycle was stolen from his residence in Tenti Babba Village, Plateau State. According to a statement from Police Spokesman SP Ahmed Wakil, officers from the Toro Divisional Police Headquarters, acting on intelligence, tracked down the suspects: Yakubu Aminu, Abdul Lawal, and Buhari Abdullahi, all from Magama Gumau Town. Wakil stated, “On December 16, 2024, a report was filed at the Tenti Babba Village Police Station, in Bokkos Local Government Area, regarding the theft of a Boxer motorcycle. The complainant, Haruna Maguwa, reported the unauthorized removal of his motorcycle.” The stolen motorcycle was recovered, and the suspects were arrested. During interrogation, the suspects confessed to the crime. The suspects will be charged in court after the investigation concludes.
