Operation Udo Ga-Achi Security Initiative Will Accelerate Industrial Development – Industrialist
An Industrialist, Dr Godwin Okafor, says the Operation Udo Ga-Achi security initiative recently launched by Governor Chukwuma Soludo will no doubt restore the confidence of investors in Anambra State.
Speaking to our team of Business Correspondence on the economic impact of the security initiative to the industrial sector, Dr Okafor, who is a community leader in Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area, maintained that the move will encourage the setting up of more industries in Anambra, which will go a long way in creating more employment opportunities for the youths, in addition to improving the revenue profile of the state.
He charged those in the private sector to always see it as a responsibility to pay their tax and stipulated levies promptly; to enable the government to continue serving them better, even as he called for the total review of the proposed fifty percent hike in telecommunication tariff by the federal government; in order not to cause more hardships to Nigerians.
