OPEN LETTER TO APPRECIATE MR GOVERNOR, PROF C.C SOLUDO

We, the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD) Anambra state chapter write to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude for your recent continued employment of teachers with disabilities within our state’s educational system. Your decision to prioritize inclusivity and diversity in the teaching profession sets a commendable example for the entire nation.
The employment of over 40 qualified teachers with disabilities does not only promotes diversity but also enriches the educational experience for all students. These teachers will bring unique perspectives, skills, and experiences to the classroom, creating a more dynamic and nurturing learning environment. Their presence in different schools will not only benefit students with disabilities by providing role models and advocates but also educate all students and other teachers without disabilities about acceptance, empathy, and respect for differences.
It will also build a more compassionate and understanding society. This initiative will definitely break down barriers and foster a culture of acceptance. Indeed, you are setting a powerful example of social progress and equality for others from different sectors to emulate.
We want to express our heartfelt appreciation for that show of love and commitment towards implementation of Anambra State Disability Rights Law 2018.
We are confident that this noble initiative of yours will reflect in other appointments of your administration going forward so that this noble initiative will have a more lasting and positive impact on our community.
Thank you once again for your progressive and inclusive approach in the education and health sectors of the state.
Our prayer is that God, in His infinite mercy, will preserve you and grant you more grace to continue with your good work in the state. Be assured of our continued prayers and support to your future ambition.
With respect and gratitude,
For JONAPWD Anambra
