Onitsha Medicine Market Hands Over ₦430m Fake, Expired Drugs to NAFDAC
The leadership of Onitsha’s Ogbo Ogwu Medicine Market has handed over fake, expired and banned drugs worth over ₦430 million to NAFDAC for destruction.
The drugs, seized between December 2025 and June 2026, include contraband confiscated during market raids and expired products voluntarily surrendered by traders as part of efforts to curb illicit medicines.
