Nigeria Qualifies For 2025 AFCON In Morocco, Holds Benin Republic 1-1 Draw

With Libya’s 1 – 0 victory over Rwanda in Kigali yesterday, Nigeria has qualified for the 2025 AFCON in Morocco; m.

The Super Eagles were held one – one draw by Cheetahs of Benin Republic at the Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

However, Libya’s victory ensured the three-time African champions’ qualification before kick-off, sparing them the pressure of needing a result for their twenty-first appearance at the tournament taking place from twenty-first December 2025, to eighteenth January 2026.
