NDLEA arrests 312, seizes 804kg of drugs in Akwa Ibom in 11 months

The NDLEA in Akwa Ibom arrested 312 suspects and seized 803.672kg of drugs between June 2024 and May 2025. Commander Obot Bassey disclosed that 38 offenders were convicted, while 43 addicts were rehabilitated. She urged greater investment in prevention and appealed for more logistics support.
