Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH) Nnewi Anambra State is set to honour two business Mogul Sir Emeka Offor CEO of Chrome Oil and EEDC Electricity, Dr Cletus Ibeto a Nnewi-born business icon and the traditional ruler of Nnewi HRM Kenneth Orizu as well as others for their outstanding contribution to the infrastructural development of the health Institution.

Disclosing this to newsmen while speaking during a press conference to announce the visit of the Nigeria Minister of Health Dr Mohammud Ali Pate to Commission the new permanent site of the institution located at Akamili Umudim, Nnewi North L.G.A the Anambra State.

yesterday, Joseph Ugboaja, the Chief medical director of the institution noted that the institution decided to honour and reconcile this great man based on their exemplary and consistent interest in seeing to the development of the institution specifically singling out Dr Cletus Ibeto for his love and interest in financing most of the physical structures in the school adding that apart from them that they are going to bring out a day to honour other distinguish philanthropists like the famous Igbo billionaire Engr. Arthur Eze pointed out his contribution to the upgrading of institutions’ infrastructures as outstanding.

On several projects to be commissioned by the Minister, Prof. Ugboaja while heaping encomiums on the minister for his achievements so far in the national health ministry stated that projects to be commissioned include the Newly Completed GOPD Complex which will be named Dr Cletus Ibeto Complex, the 250-bed medical complex to be named Sir Emeka Offor medical complex as well as other vital infrastructures.

Another major project he disclosed that the minister will commission includes also two oxygen plants that will be sited inside the school as well as another groundbreaking project the regional modern radio diagnostic centre south-east region, a project he said `will reduce medical tourism to overseas countries among Nigerians.
