Immigration solicits support for reconstruction of vandalised complex in Enugu

The Nigeria Immigration services has said that it is in dire need of an estimate of N15 million naira to repair it’s vandalused office complex,located along Emene Enugu express way by Endsars protesters.
The new Controller,Immigration Services,Enugu state command ,Mr Joachim Olumba,made the appeal when he paid a courtesy visit to the chairman of Enugu East local government area,Hon Alex Okezie Ugwu,under whose council the I damaged mmigration complex situates.
He lamented that if not for the vandalization aftermath of Endsars protests,the complex was already completed and would have been commissioned within the month of October,2020.
The Enugu state command Immigration controller,Mr Olumba,therefore pleaded with the Enugu East Council chairman,as their landlord to help the organization solicit for support from the state government and other agencies to raise funds for repairs of the damaged complex.
He commended the Enugu East local government administration under Hon Alex Okezie for the supports it has rendered to various federal departments attached to Enugu East local government area and expressed hope for such relationship to contnue.
In his response,the Chairman of Enugu East Council chairman,Hon Okezie,assured that his council will continue to partner with the state Immigration command and promised to channel his demand to the aporopriate authorities.
