“I moved a motion in the House of Assembly which has to do with government to construct permanent IDP camps in different locations so that where the victims would stay could not become a challenge in emergency like this. He also advocated that government should approve fund for the victims  to recover all their loses. “So many persons lost their farmland, some lost their busineness, some even lost their houses because a lot of  properties were abandoned and hoodlums used the opportunity to steal their belongings.

“Government has to assist them in terms of giving them enough funds to fall back as an incentives to start life afresh. Also, many pregnant women,  nursing mothers and Children who are prone  to disease needs to take to the  Hospital to examine them and give them appropriate treatment.

Farmers needs to be funded because they have not harvested their crops before the flood incidents otherwise they would not go back to their farms and they are predominantly farmers”
