Fifa Ranking: See Nigeria new position

Nigeria remains unchanged in the latest FIFA rankings released on the world football governing body’s official website on Thursday, as Coronavirus continues to hinder sporting activities worldwide.

The Super Eagles still occupy the 31st position in the world and are third in Africa, same as the previous edition.

The solitary change sees South Sudan move into a joint-168th position with Bermuda after the latter dropped a ranking point thanks to a 2-0 defeat in Jamaica (48th, unchanged) on 11 March.

Senegal remains the best team in Africa and 20th in the world, while Tunisia occupies the 27th position.

Algeria (35th) and Morocco (43rd) complete the top five in Africa.

Globally, Belgium remains the highest-ranked country in the world.

France is in the second spot, while Brazil, England, and Uruguay make up the top five.

The next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be published on 11 June, 2020.
