The Federal Capital Territory Civil Service Commission has dismissed 230 FCTA staff, mostly senior health workers, over alleged absenteeism.

Reports indicate that many affected workers were not formally notified and only discovered their names on social media lists, with April salaries also halted. Several staff denied the allegations, insisting they received no prior warnings or queries.

Union leaders have urged calm, promising to engage the Commission and seek clarification on the sudden action.
